OMG! i love you Kaleb! i was sad when you didn't post a video (wow that sounds obsessive). anyway, i would like to answer the question of the day. but first, (don't roll you eyes) i would like to talk about Sam. when i read the part about Sam on Grace's back porch i was overwhelmed by some weird feeling. i found that i had a lot of emotions through out the book. i cryed, i laughed (there is nothing really funny in the book), i almost screamed. also, what is with the goat thing. oh wait i remember! i have no clue what so ever. anywho...... i just forgot what i was about to say. this has been happening to me alot. by the way, if i haven't mentioned it before (which i have) i LOVE Shiver. i cannot wait for Linger to come out. new moon is coming out on dvd tomorrow night. which is Friday March 19, 2010. i thought i was going to buy it, but i must save up for a puppy. yes. i do not really have anything to say except that i love you Kaleb and i looked at the other comments and they were very long, so i felt the need to make a long comment too. yes. anyway (what is that like 3 times i've said anyway, but whose counting?) the question, if i had seen my friend who was supposed to be dead as a wolf, i would probably consider the idea due to the fact that i love wolfs, and my friends, and i am a crazy person. yes. i, however, do NOT believe in ghosts, vampires, werewolves, zombies (i read a zombie book recently and another vampire romance), mummies (coming to life at least), or any other mythological creature. i forgot cyclopses. i do no believe in those either. yes in deddy do. that is it. so to recap, Sam, emotions, anyway x 3, question, recap. so yeah. bye. <3 ya Kaleb.

    Kaleb,

First off, I really enjoy reading your blog/vlog posts, especially back when you were doing TwilightGuy. The videos you do now are fun, but you don't really do all that much reviewing. I appreciated the blog posts because you gave a nice detailed overview of specific bits of the chapters. I log on to this website to hear your thoughts on Shiver, and you barely talk about the book at all. About all you do is post questions for your fans, and then paste their responses into your video. I realize as an author and all, you're deep into revisions (I am a Creative Writing major, and my professor is currently editing her new YA novel, so I'm familiar with the painful process you're going through :-), but seriously? Post more of your own thoughts on the book, perhaps in a paragraph below the video clip. This IS a literary discussion site, right?

    All the best,
    Leah

Alrighty, new question of the day! I surely hope not to ramble on like I did last time! It is also /so/ cool to hear that you already have the edited manuscripts from your new book in. It must be a bother to have to go through everything again, but at the same time I suppose it's exciting to have another book coming out. :D
    Onto the question at hand!
If my best friend disappeared, I would most likely take advantage of any slight hope that he would still be alive. If the police came to me and said, "Alrighty Alex, one of your friend's hairs was found in his favorite shirt that was made in Malyasia. We believe that he may have taken his love for this shirt too far and walked, swam, hitchhiked, skied, quacked, and flown to Malyasia so that he may be at the place where it was made." I think that a tiny part of me may try to believe that he was somewhere in Malyaisa, making t-shirts. I would try to believe it merely for the fact that it would mean that he was alive. Though I must admit, most of me would be contradicting the small part of me that was attempting to put heart into the story. When it comes to the possibility of werewolves, I may be a big more open to that than to the idea of my friend running off to a t-shirt factory. I'm not sure why, but I can see the scenario of me maybe beginning to believe in werewolves; for the sake of a friend.

It might be that this was what Grace was doing. There's a huge hunting party in the woods, and there is a very good chance that Grace's wolf may not be alive for much longer. She must be holding onto the fact that he was there, and she might be able to save him from the hunting party. If she had found him before Jack's disappearance, Grace may have just called an paramedic and left it at that (If she would have done that at all. Personally, I would be a little bit frazzled if a naked boy showed up on my back porch. I would have helped him, but I would be rather frazzled.).

I also found it funny that someone else thought of the idea of maybe the father finding Sam before Grace. xDD It would have been pretty funny.

Well bother, I do believe I have rambled on more than I did last post. Ah well, I think I got my point across. Farewell, and thanks for a great video!
